Announcements:

Grad photo day is tomorrow! Please bring a white shirt, a tie.... and your best smile!

Dr. Jean Clinton will be coming to our school to do a talk on Thursday, March 29, 2018 (tomorrow) @ 7:00 pm.  She will be delivering a talk to the community: "Supporting Resilience in our Children" How can we maintain our high expectations of our students but also let them be kids? This presentation will discuss what children need to survive and thrive.  I have seen Dr. Clinton speak before, and thought that she was great!

- Think of ideas that will help support your thesis for paragraph A of the following essay topics:
7/8 P - Should students be able to choose the subjects that they study at a young age.
8M - Do parents raise their children the way they feel they should have been raised.

- I have been very impressed with the level of engagement in our Patterning unit. Next week we will create steps together to determine how we can find algebraic expressions - both linear and exponential.

English
- We will continue with the presentations of our essay outlines and watching "The Giver" and "Outisders" movies next week.

Grad photos will be taken next Thursday, March 29, 2018.  Please make sure that you wear the appropriate attire and look good for your photo - it will be immortalized on your parent's photo wall forever... Order forms were handed out today.

- Course Verification forms were handed out today. Please review your courses to ensure that the correct courses were selected.  Make sure that you have selected an alternate in case your electives aren't available.

Happy International Women's Day!

- Grade 7s will complete their final Quiz on the Outsiders tomorrow! (Make sure you have finished your novel!)

- We finish seminars tomorrow. If you haven't presented yet, make sure you practice for tomorrow.

- CONGRATS to all of the Olympic teams that competed this week in our competitions.  You displayed a strong sense of sportsmanship.
